Reflection Blog

Hello, my people! Today I will be reflecting on my commercial project. I will be talking about how I learned to use Cap Cut, the process of putting my project together, and what I wish I could have done better. I learned how to use Cap Cut from my friend, Gibson. He taught me the basic ins and outs of the software. He has used it many times, so I would consider him an editing pro. He showed me how to add photos and videos. He also taught me how to add some sound in the background and how to remove sound from the videos I put. As well as how to access transitions if I wanted to and how to move things around in general. Honestly, everything was self-explanatory, and I could have probably figured out everything myself if I wanted to, but I appreciate the help he gave me. Doing this project helped me learn that the sequence is important. It's not really possible to do the final commercial without doing any of the production blogs beforehand. The production blogs are your ideas, an

Welcome back to another blog, my people! Today I will continue to talk about my plans for my commercial. I went over the process of choosing a song and editing software for my commercial. For this blog, I will be planning where I want to do my commercial and who I want to be in it. I will have to be in it since it's about me. But I also want to include some special people in my life. My mother is an important part of my life because she is my biggest role model. As well as my brother because he inspires me to do better and have success in life. Not because he's successful or anything. It's because of my mother's famous quote, "Don't be like your brother." Considering how long I have for the commercial, having two people should be sufficient. For the location, I intend to either do the park right by my house or inside my home. Every day after school, I go to the park and hang out with some friends, so the park is a special place to me because that's whe

Hello, my people, welcome back to another blog. I've decided to make another minor change about what I'm going to use for my commercial. But before that, I would like to mention I made up my mind about using Capcut. I will be using it to edit anything I make, and I now have some experience from being taught by my friends. The minor change I decided to make is the song choice. In my research and planning blog, I said I would use La Campanella as my song choice. I mainly chose that because it is one of the most technically challenging piano songs ever written, hence why it's my favorite. But I'm changing the song choice to Fantasie Impromptu. A little bit about Fantasie Impromptu, composed by Frédéric Chopin, is a masterpiece of classical music for numerous reasons. Its expressive melody immediately captures the listener's attention, drawing them into a world of profound musical beauty. Chopin's technical prowess shines throughout the piece, showcasing his virtuo

Welcome back, my people! To do my commercial, I am going to need some editing. So, I have been thinking about which software I want to use, and although there are some choices like iMovie and Final Cut Pro, I decided to go with Capcut. When asking fellow peers about which software I should use, Capcut was the most recommended. It's much easier to manage than other ones and contains more features. That will be useful because I'll be able to include all the required parts. For my commerical I will need to have several scenes, so Capcut will help put everything together. I don't have any experience with editing, so that's a bummer. But through the week, I intend to play around with Capcuts features so I can get used to them. I also will ask some of my friends who have previously used that software and hope they can teach me a thing or two. I am unsure if Capcut can do the same things as other software, so I may have to change where I want to edit soon. I will need to

Welcome back, my people; today, I will discuss my process of choosing the requisites for my commercial. First off, for my song, I was stuck between three choices; my options were Piano Man by Billy Joel, La Campanella by Franz Liszt, and Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin. I ended up going with La Campanella for three reasons. La Campanella is known for its exceptional technical demands, featuring rapid, intricate piano passages that require remarkable skill and precision from the performer. While showcasing technical prowess, La Campanella also allows pianists to convey a wide range of emotions through its balance of brilliant, virtuosic sections and lyrical, expressive passages, making it a favorite for both musicians and audiences. And the simple reason is that it's just my favorite classical song. For my photos, I intend to go with some of my favorite things. Penguins are my favorite animal, specifically the African penguin. I focus on penguins' adorableness instead of their cr

Hello, my people. I am Daniel Andrade, a proud Hispanic from Honduras to fulfill my parent's dreams of being successful. I plan to do what my whole family has aspired to do but did not accomplish and become a fortunate lawyer. I am starting my success story at Fort Lauderdale High School. And I am currently in my junior year. I am 16 years old and still have at least half a year before I turn 17. I look forward to passing my AICE classes, getting a great score on my SAT, and overall having an enjoyable school year. Outdoors isn't my style, so I will try to find ways to spend time inside the breeze of AC. People blame technology on that, and I 100% agree. Instead of spending hours scrolling through the internet, I prefer to read. I like mysterious books with a good plot twist, such as the book I am reading right now, Inferos Edge. When not reading, I am doing my favorite hobby, chess. I swear I feel like that game consumes my life. I recently managed to finally play chess b
