Why I Chose "Yesterday": Exploring The Beatles' Impact on My Music Video
Hello, my people! Today I'm talking about why I chose to do the music video on The Beatles. I am using two songs I've mentioned in my previous blogs as examples. The examples will show in depth why I might have done one of those two songs rather than the song I chose, Yesterday. To start things off, I chose The Beatles because they're iconic and have a huge fan base/well-known. "Help!" is a lively and upbeat track with an infectious melody. It's a song that can make people want to dance and sing along, which is what I wanted for my video at first. In contrast, "Your Mother Should Know" offers a more nostalgic and whimsical feel, adding a cool emotional layer to the music video. Both songs have lyrics that connect with people on different levels. "Help!" is all about asking for help, while "Your Mother Should Know" has this vibe of tradition and family wisdom, making them relatable to pretty much everyone. Creating a tribute to these iconic songs isn't just a creative project, but it's also a way to give props to The Beatles for their massive impact on the music scene. Using "Help!" and "Your Mother Should Know" opens up a ton of options for storytelling visually. It allows me to create unique plots, interesting characters, and cool visuals that'll amp up the viewer's experience. But in the end, I had to go with "Yesterday" This track stands as one of The Beatles' timeless classics, renowned for its beautiful melody and profound lyrics. It carries an inherent emotional depth that can profoundly resonate with young adults or anyone who's going through that struggle. The song's reflective and straightforward style presents a special chance for narrative, allowing the video to portray a close-knit story about the artist. Furthermore, "Yesterday" has been widely covered and reworked by a wide range of musicians throughout the years, highlighting its timeless appeal and significance. The video may be made accessible and emotionally impactful by the song's universal themes, which include nostalgia, introspection, and the unstoppable march of time. Thank you all for tuning in. And as always, don't have a good day, have a great day!
