Hello, my people, welcome back to another blog. I've decided to make another minor change about what I'm going to use for my commercial. But before that, I would like to mention I made up my mind about using Capcut. I will be using it to edit anything I make, and I now have some experience from being taught by my friends. The minor change I decided to make is the song choice. In my research and planning blog, I said I would use La Campanella as my song choice. I mainly chose that because it is one of the most technically challenging piano songs ever written, hence why it's my favorite. But I'm changing the song choice to Fantasie Impromptu. A little bit about Fantasie Impromptu, composed by Frédéric Chopin, is a masterpiece of classical music for numerous reasons. Its expressive melody immediately captures the listener's attention, drawing them into a world of profound musical beauty. Chopin's technical prowess shines throughout the piece, showcasing his virtuo...
Tonight, I'm writing about my first editing blog for our final film project. As someone who has been using Cap Cut since the start of my school year for my classes, I can confidently say it's the best editing software to use. Especially when filming a horror story such as my group is. I had my doubts when I first opened, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to navigate and the tips it tells you to help you navigate. I believe editing for horror is a life saver because it changes ordinary footage into spine-chilling scenes with a few clicks. It's easy to effortlessly create an ominous atmosphere using the app's lighting adjustment and eerie sound effects. There are plenty of transitions available along with haunting music that can keep any audience captivated throughout the video, ensuring maximum impact. My groupmate also mentioned that I could use Cap Cut's color grading options to enhance the eerie ambiance of the sc...
Hello, my people, and welcome back! Today, I will be talking about the filming process of the music video. The plan is to go to a park after school and do three/fourth of the recordings there. An iPhone will be used for the recordings instead of an actual camera. For the first couple of scenes, I will be recording my group mates to make their entrance for the music video. For the scene in particular, I will be trying to achieve certain angles. For starters, the angle that will be used the most is going to be the eye level angle. And when they first walk in I will be in front of them slowly walking backward while they walk forward thus creating a tracking shot. Depending on how I'm feeling at the time I might try to get other angles like low and high angles. Throughout the filming I will get an establishing and wide shot of all of us and the whole park. The method I'm thinking of using to get this done is to climb up the tallest tree there so I can get a shot of the whole land...
