 Today, I am making my last blog for the film project. I will be reviewing my film for the last time and my experience with my group. I know I said I was done editing, but I decided to work on it more. Fortunately, I didn't make many changes. I kept most of it the same except for the music, and some scene changes. I know it sounds like much but trust me, it isn't. The music was because I used the same sound throughout the film. I wanted to be more versatile so it didn’t get stale. And for the scene changes, I wasn't the most proud of it before. Unfortunately, I was busy on one of the days we recorded and you could tell those scenes lacked structure. Since we mainly did retakes, I re-ordered some scenes to make the story seem less bland because they went all over the place. With all honesty, I am proud of the film we made. Today I’m here to talk about the film review for our final project. The first strength I would like to point out is the atmosphere I was able to create with the editing lighting features. But even before that the group was able to choose a nice location and was able to do it during a certain time when the lighting was already picture-perfect. Another strength I would like to point out is our creativity. We drew the title in the dirt to add a cliche style to our horror film. Meanwhile, our plot is what you would expect from an old horror movie before the 2000’s.  you can see the creativity shine when we play our roles. Each of us made our character more lively but going off script made the film much better. What I love about our film the most is the suspense. We set up multiple opportunities for fake suspense by having fake buildups making the viewer think they were going to get jump scared but in reality, nothing happened.       Tonight, I'm writing about my second editing blog for our final film project. The last editing blog I mentioned the resources I was planning on using. I talked about using the lighting system to create an ominous atmosphere, and eerie sound effects. As well as the color grading options to enhance the eerie ambiance of the scenes, making every frame feel unsettling and ominous. And the motion tracking feature which I finally learned what it was by using it. It a dds precision and enhances visual effects, creating engaging and professional-quality videos. And, you can apply a speed curve to create a smooth, cinematic viewing experience. I'm proud to say I used as many features as I can and I certainly used every feature mentioned in the first editing blog. One of the ones I was most excited about was the s plit screen feature. It heightened suspense and delivered shocking moments which I didn't believe was possible. Another feature I used is the text and tiles. ...

     We tried to film over the weekend but were unable to. We decided to make it during the weekend because we were going to be outdoors, and our phones said it would be perfect weather. Unfortunately, the weather app lied to us. Around 10 minutes after arriving it started to rain. At first, it was a light rain so we decided to continue with the filming. But when we finished our first scene it started to rain harder. We hid under a gazebo, waiting and hoping for the rain to calm down. We waited for around 20 minutes then the rain lightened. We thought it would be best to continue before it picks up again. We had to set up the tent again because when it started raining heavily Mario was afraid of the tent getting wet. After setting it back up I told them we should just film the scenes that involve the tent in case it starts to rain harder again. Me, Jayden, Mario and Myles all planned to do different things while we make our movie. Since it was a horror movie, we had to find costumes for the main villain. We didn't make a decision because if we bought a bad costume, the scene could be scary and not scary. The hardest part was deciding who would be the main villain. We decided that Jayden was the villain because he volunteered and fit into more costumes. The main villain also needed a weapon and we decided on a machete because we all love the Friday the 13th movies and that inspired us to use it. We were ready to bring our initial period to life. As a last step, I bought all the necessary items and we went to the film set. However, it was a bit difficult because we all had different schedules and we have to find a time that works for all of us.        There are four roles within the group since there are four of us. I am going to be the main character. He is someone who is cautious and afraid of anything that resembles horror. My role is to act afraid the whole time meanwhile providing a tone of anger at my friends for bringing me to the woods. My scenes involve looking for for sticks, sleeping in a tent, and running from a killer. The next person is Jayden. He is malicious person just like the other two friends, but his character has more of a presence than the other two. His role is to pretend to act sympathetic while secretly plotting against the main character. His scenes involve helping the main character pick up sticks and being hung.  Then there's Myles. He is a snobbish character who basically wants to torment the main character. He does this by coming up with plans to scare the main character along with Jayden and Mario (will be discussed next).       Good afternoon, I'm writing about the music I plan to use in the final film project.  Setting out on the travel of making a frightfulness brief film is energizing however challenging, particularly when it comes to picking the correct motion picture to adjust . Exploring copyright laws might appear dubious , but I've found some helpful websites that make the method less demanding . To begin with , I checked out destinations like Public Domain Torrents and Internet Archive.  They have tons of classic frightfulness movies whose copyrights have lapsed , so they're idealize for adjusting . It felt like I was burrowing up covered up treasures, with each film advertising potential motivation . I moreover looked into Imaginative Commons-licensed movies on stages like Vimeo and YouTube.        Tonight, I'm writing about my first editing blog for our final film project. As someone who has been using Cap Cut since the start of my school year for my classes, I can confidently say it's the best editing software to use. Especially when filming a horror story such as my group is. I had my doubts when I first opened, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to navigate and the tips it tells you to help you navigate. I believe editing for horror is a life saver because it changes ordinary footage into spine-chilling scenes with a few clicks. It's easy to effortlessly create an ominous atmosphere using the app's lighting adjustment and eerie sound effects. There are plenty of transitions available along with haunting music that can keep any audience captivated throughout the video, ensuring maximum impact.       In order to make our film project as realistic as possible I decided it would be best to acquire a couple of resources that would fit well with our script. For starters, in the storyboard there are a couple of scenes that use the tent or have it in the background. I started looking for a tent online which is helpful regardless because my family mentioned they want to go camping soon anyway so might as well get both done at once. But I didn't find anything to my liking so I went shopping in person for one. I went to stores like Lowe's and Home Depot but unfortunately, those places are too costly. In the midst of searching through the tent isles in home depot, my mother texted me saying she found an old tent at home. After I returned I checked out the tent she found in our storage shed. That solved that problem, but according to the storyboard I also need rope. The rope is to symbolize the antagonist of our story and to represent the title "Ha...

 Pitch A: A person chilling in their house listening to some music and making food, until they spot a person in their backyard. He gets in and tries to kill him, they run to the forest and the guy gets tricked and bleeds out. Pitch B: Two robbers break into a person's house, not knowing that they're a psychopath and plans to brutally murder them. Discuss pitch A: I would be interested in making this film opening because it seems like a simple yet effective opening to a film. This was the first scene that I thought of when I heard we had to make a film opening. I have many ideas on how this scene could go with multiple alternatives. I already know of some places we could film this and how we would go about it. I think this would be a great way to open a horror movie and I would love to film this idea.  Schedule: Our schedule will be pretty tight, and time will be limited. Our goal is to complete filming all scenes of the beginning of the film in a single day before we have to go home. The setting of it will be at night time and in close proximity to a friends house, so we are operating on their time mostly as well. The good news is, the sun sets early at this time of year so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. The goal is to get all of our clips in by 10:00PM which is certainly manageable for only 2 minutes of footage. Locations: Hampton Pines Park in North Lauderdale will be our choice of location for our film. He is considered a good candidate to be the antagonist in this movie considering his stature and mannerisms. He also has experience in elementary school.  The opening credits will appear digitally on the screen, showing up after a cut from each character or location except the title and the director which will appear in the opening itself. The credits for the movie will be shown based on the amount of work done and overall impact to the opening.  Our working title is "The black Forest incident" The font we'll be using will be "Impact" with a bright red text to make it distinguishable from the background. When the scene opens the first few titles will be shown, staying for around 5-10 seconds each before fading away, once the action picks up and the camera cuts to a specific character or location there will be two for each section staying and leaving the same as the others The title and "directed by" will be shown in the opening rather than appearing on screen like the other title, near the end carved into the ground, spelt out by a pool of blood or something like that.

 For this blog, I selected the website "artofthetitle.com". It is a website that showcases the opening sequences of a variety of different movies. These movies being of many different genres themselves. This specific website has the opening sequences of several horror movies from several time periods that interest me. My group mates aren't exactly concerned over this as they already have an idea in mind on what they want to do as in era of horror movies they want to try to replicate in our opening scene. However, I want to appreciate all of them as this website does. It takes into account many eras of horror film and I would like to choose inspiration from one of them. There are many different factors that differentiate and distinguish artofthetitle from other websites like it. This website creates a yearly list of the Top 10 opening scenes of movies.  In total, there are about three thousand opening sequences of films on this website.

 In the opening for Pearl, the beginning titles are the production studios and the star actor playing Pearl, in the background it shows a nice scenic shot of her house then it cuts to the camera panning over various pictures and dolls. As the other main actors are displayed the camera pans over to Pearl. The camera stays on Pearl as the lighting changes, the titles displayed are who did casting, music, costume design, and the production designer, before the mood changes when her mother comes in the room. all title cards stop while Pearl and her mother talk. Pearl gets told to go to the farm and once she is alone on screen it shows who edited the movie, the line producer, executive producers and who produced the movie. Pearl is caring for her farm animals until a duck enters the farm and Pearl kills it. While this happens the titles cards stop until the scene suddenly cuts to her walking a mysterious path with the duck she killed. She stops at a lake, while the last two cards show. ...
